I have been doing some dreaming lately. Mainly because it is so cold outside I try to think of warmer places, and because my classes have been cancelled so much these days. As I think about moving to a new city and settling in to our new home, the future seems so bright. I cannot wait to see how I grow as an artist and where photography takes me. Here are a few things on my photography “bucket list” that I cannot wait to make happen: shoot a barn reception, shoot a snowy engagement, snap some in-home newborn photos, capture an anniversary shoot for a couple that has been in love for years, photograph a ceremony under an oak tree, shoot a sailing engagement session, shoot a portrait session with a hot air balloon, snap some family portraits on a foggy morning, and capture a surprise proposal. Some of these dreams are already in the works for this year, but if you can help any of my dreams come true, let me know. I would love to work with you! As I reflect on this year, I am overwhelmed with gratefulness. Grateful for the incredible friends and family who have encouraged me. Grateful for the incredible photographers who have mentored me. Grateful for a husband who showers me with so much love. And grateful for a Savior who has blessed me beyond anything I could ever imagine. Here are a few of my favorite images from the past year. I cannot wait to see what is in store for 2014.Coors family, you are all so beautiful. Huge thank you to Lukas and Suzy for inviting me along for this gorgeous Kentucky wedding. The details were straight out of a magazine.
I spent several summer days with this sweet girl and her big sisters. Brought back sweet memories of growing up with my two sisters.
This wedding was photographed with the lovely Darlene. I can’t thank you enough for all that you have taught me.

And a huge thank you to my second shooter, Todd, who also happens to be my handsome husband. Lastly, this is my sister. She is beautiful inside and out, and I am so proud of all that she has done this year. Ashten is heading to Australia next week. Ash, I will miss you a ton, but I can’t wait to hear about your incredible adventures.
This little girl is such a cutie. She is all smiles all the time. We have been hanging out with her and her big sisters lately, and coming from a family of all girls, it reminds me of playing with my sisters. And it makes me appreciate my parents. I have no idea how they did it!
I had such a hard time picking my favorites from this session. Amber is gorgeous, and every shot was lovely. We picked the hottest day of the summer, but you can’t tell from Amber’s beautiful smiles. But we did end our session with some ice cream :).
These two are my favorite. All smiles the entire session, despite the blazing heat. I even brought along my trusty assistant (aka my handsome hubby). He might have only agreed because he knew we were all going out for burgers after. But I’m going to pretend he was dying to help me out :). He held my camera bag and kept everyone laughing. I might have to bring him along more often.
